Staff Testimonials
Kristy R. – Program Manager
In the five years that I have worked at Walden Behavioral Care, I have had the opportunity to serve my community in a meaningful way to better individuals' quality of life to make lasting change. With Walden, I have been able to obtain my Master's degree utilizing their tuition reimbursement program, as well as have the opportunity to be challenged to allow for professional and personal growth with the organization. Because of Walden's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, there are endless resources, trainings, and education opportunities offered to create a welcoming environment. For me personally, having a supporting, compassionate, and effective leader has contributed to my experience with Walden in a positive way. Because of this leadership and endless support, I have the opportunity to challenge myself, create a positive work/home life experience, and grow as an individual.
Erika S. - Nurse Manager
The best thing about working at Monte Nido is the staff each house/facility has. The staff at each facility offer a certain teamwork mentality that truly aids in providing the best services to our clientele. They make it fun and a great environment to walk in to. Always warm and have a smile on their faces. They all are so knowledgeable in the field and passionate about eating disorders. The work we all get to do to reach the common goal for our clients in itself is inspirational. To be a part of our client’s treatment and aid in sustained recovery is truly rewarding. You won’t regret it!
Kelly S. - Nurse Manager
I appreciate the ongoing education, support and tools the company provides to help you succeed in your role. I believe the most important investments are in yourself and in others. The company is people-oriented and its values align with mine. When a new client walks through the doors, I enjoy greeting them warmly and introducing them to our program because it is their first step (& one of the hardest steps) a client takes towards recovery. It’s a privilege for me to be one of the first people a client meets on their first day. It’s inspiring to witness a client participate in the program and the positive actions they take towards their future.
Curtis G. - VP Hospital Operations
I’ve worked at Walden Behavioral Care for almost a decade now and have had the privilege to work with so many great and caring people over the years. I started at Walden as a Manager and have worked my way up to an Assistant Vice President as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Walden is a fantastic place to work and offers many growth opportunities along the way. No two days are the same here which makes every day interesting and exciting.
